Buying my work

Each painting is an original oil on canvas or board, created using professional-quality materials and inspired by the North Yorkshire landscape. I work mostly on location, responding directly to the changing light, colour, and atmosphere, capturing a genuine moment in time.

Paintings are sold unframed to allow flexibility in how you display them in your space. However, framing is available on request. I often use a scoop frame painted in a soft Farrow & Ball neutral, with a 'Pointing' slip inset. This style complements the work beautifully and is shown in many of the in situ images. If you’d like to receive your painting framed, just get in touch.

All original work comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. All orders are carefully packed and fully insured. I also offer a free digital mockup service — simply send me a photo of your room and I’ll show you how a piece might look in your space.

DO YOU OFFER FRAMING?

All paintings with a few exceptions are supplied unframed. I’m happy to offer framing suggestions—please feel free to contact me before or after your purchase to discuss options. On this website, you’ll see framed mockups of my paintings, often shown in wide frames (50-76mm), which I feel best suits the size of my current works. Recently, I’ve been using frames painted in Farrow & Ball’s 'Elephant’s Breath' with a 'Pointing' slip inset, which offers a warm, neutral grey that beautifully highlights each piece. This can be seen in several of the mockups displayed here - contact me if you are interested in purchasing a framed, ready to hang painting or print.
