I'm a landscape painter based in North Yorkshire, creating original oil paintings inspired by the changing light, colour and seasons of the British countryside.

Working mainly outdoors, I return to familiar fields, trees and quiet lanes, observing how the landscape changes through the year. I'm particularly drawn to those fleeting moments when a shift in light or colour transforms an otherwise ordinary scene into something worth remembering.

Although rooted in the countryside around my home, my paintings reflect a wider affection for the British landscape and the places that become familiar to us over time.
