Two Trees, Kilburn

I began this artwork on location but the clear February morning gave way to heavy cloud about an hour in so I decided to stick with the original view which caught my eye and finished the painting in studio, from memory and reference material. The work features impasto brush work and captures the subtle change in light as Spring beckons. 

Oil on canvas board 41cm x 51cm, signed on the reverse unframed.
