Late Summer, Birdsall

Late summer in Birdsall, near Malton, and this small tree-lined lane caught my eye. Beyond the shelter of these mature trees, the view opens up across freshly harvested fields, full of earthy oranges and ochres. There’s a stillness at this time of year, and I wanted to capture that feeling as the light fell gently across the landscape.
