January Fields, Terrington

Painted en plein air, on a cold January morning near the village of Terrington, North Yorkshire I was taken with the wonderful green of the ploughed field as it caught the winter sun, the golden highlights of bare winter branches and the powder blue of the cold, bright sky. The brush work is expressive and gestural and will enhance any space you choose to hang this. Oil on canvas board, 42mm x 32mm (16" x 12") signed on the front.
