By the last days of May the landscape has already settled into summer. From a distance it appears almost entirely green, yet closer inspection reveals an endless range of subtle hues. It was the freshly cut grass, striped across the distant field, that first drew my attention. Within hours those lines would vanish as the farmer returned to turn and spread the crop for drying.
FRAMING
This painting is supplied framed in my signature 50mm scoop frame, hand-finished in Farrow & Ball “Elephant’s Breath” with a “Pointing” slip inset.
The framing is intended to provide a calm, understated presentation that complements the palette and character of the work.
