Yew Topiary, Newburgh Priory
Yew Topiary, Newburgh Priory
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a larger version of a previous painting of the beautiful, topiarised yew hedges lining the road to Newburgh Priory near Coxwold, their organic forms creating a bold, structural rhythm across the composition. The afternoon light enhances the contrast between warm and cool greens in this early spring scene, while in the distance, the White Horse of Kilburn stands as a quiet emblem of the landscape’s heritage.
