This is a spot I return to often on my walks—there’s something about the way these two trees frame the lane that always holds my attention. They seem to shift with the light and season, revealing something new each time. On this clear March day, the sky was bright, the colours just beginning to change, and the air had that early spring clarity. I painted this on location, trying to capture the quiet rhythm of the landscape as winter gives way to the arrival of Spring.
Oil on canvas board 40xm x 50cm, signed on the reverse.
