The Turn of the Season
The Turn of the Season
Couldn't load pickup availability
Painted on location in early spring, this view looks along a quiet lane as the season begins to shift. The first signs of growth are just starting to show in the trees, with fresh greens lifting through the hedgerow and soft light moving across the fields.
There’s a sense of transition here, the landscape not fully turned, but on the cusp of change. The bare structure of winter still lingers in the branches, while colour begins to return in the land and sky.
Although rooted in the Yorkshire countryside, it’s a scene that could be found almost anywhere, a familiar stretch of lane, a passing moment of light, and that subtle feeling of the year beginning to move forward again.
